This website is here for me to be able to record my thoughts and what I have learnt from my daily devotionals. It will act as a reminder to me on what I have read, and I hope, if you have stumbled accross this site, that my notes are helpful to you. (Note added 06 Mar 2008: My notes seem to be getting longer each day, and are turning into mini devotionals of their own! This is not on purpose, but does help me focus on what I am supposed to be learning!)
I use mainly Our Daily Bread and sometimes Word for Today as my sources for my Daily Devotionals and I can highly recommend, if you don’t have a quiet time with Jesus every day, that you do so, and use these websites to help you.
It is so important to have a regular time with Jesus:
John 8:31-36
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
33 They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?”
34 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. “
To know the truth, we need to make sure we study Gods Word as much as possible!
