Great story...His-Story of your coming into relationship with Jesus Chist as your personal Lord and Savior, and also the "back and forth" stuggle all too often, many of us go through before we FINALLY decide to let "Jesus Take the Wheel"... you and your story are a true blessng and I commend you Lee for choosing and committing to study, mediatate, earnestly seek and share God with others. You have inspired me today to do more of the same, as it's been just a little while since I decided to again "come home" and move over and "Let go and Let God" be the "driving" force in my life! :) May God continue to annoint, keep, and richly bless you, your family, your ministry, and others through you!

Well it doesnt just apply to your patch of land, but to the planet. I think we need to look at doing what we can to care for this amazing planet, just as Adam was instructed at the beginning!

Thank you for this post today. I moved house with my Dad 2 weeks ago and we are lucky enough to have a large patch of land. I always admire people who look after their gardens and make them look beautiful. And this is what God would have wanted. I never considered this before!

We assign an image to God to help us comprehend who He is. This is not the best way of understanding Him or having a relationship with Him. For me, the best way is to listen to His word. What better way to understand him is there?

As a new Christian, having just come to the Lord, this story is one that relates strongly.

Notice how the Father "runs" to His son "quick". There is no second thought. He kills the "fattened calf" and they celebrate together.

There is no hesitation from our Father, He doesn't consider whether he really wants you as His son. There is no question. We are all His sons and daughters and He loves us with no doubt or hesitation and whole-heartedly.
